Unique Leaders

Unique Leaders aims to equip, grow, and develop our teens with Autism to be confident, competent individuals who can enjoy life as they figure out who they are and how they need to navigate their place in this world and amongst others. This is done through engaging and interactive groups which incorporate social coaching, experiential learning and active engagement in lessons and activities on topics such as communication, self advocacy, leadership skills, and social issues such as bullying.

When your teen signs up to be a Unique Leader, they are committing to:

Attend meetings every second Tuesday for 6 months
Following up on tasks set for them in between meetings

While the regular meetings are for the teens, parents are encouraged to attend a few of the sessions to hear what we are busy with and to receive additional support from our facilitators. Parents are encourage to provide feedback on how things are working with their teen at home.
